Increasingly more users are taking their wireless devices into tough environments where the quality of their radio transmission matters. MCII connectors work perfect both as internal data connectors and/or as external antenna connector where RF signal is weak and the help of external antenna is needed.
While traditional connectors such as N type, RP TNC, or RP SMA are often used as external antenna connectors, they all share the common drawback of being too bulky and inconvenient to carry. Thanks to Aliner's designing team and its CNC strength, now the mass production of solid CNC processed ultra miniature quick locking connectors is possible.
Aliner's MCII antenna connectors offer design engineers a minimal board height of 2.10mm, length of 3.10mm and width of 3.70mm, much smaller than MCX and MMCX. Available in PCB/edge mount, this 50ohm connector is in compliance with RoHS requirements, featuring snap-on coupling interface, delivering VSWR less than 1.35 up to 6GHz with an insertion loss of -0.28dB and durability of greater than 500 mating cycles. The mating connector displays a short length of 7.0mm. To satisfy the demands of modern production facilities, Aliner's MCII can be delivered in tray/reel packaging for high volume pick-and-place manufacturing.
